Robert Cranmer is a highly accomplished Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) leader with over 30+ years of experience driving safety excellence, regulatory compliance, and cultural transformation across diverse industries, including utilities, petrochemicals, aerospace, and manufacturing. As a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP), Robert brings deep technical expertise combined with a proven track record of developing innovative safety programs, reducing incident rates, and improving operational efficiency.

Throughout his career, Robert has built high-performing teams, implemented integrated EHS management systems, and delivered measurable results — including driving OSHA incident rates from 8.0 to 2.5 at Burbank Water and Power and achieving 13 years of regulatory compliance with zero Notices of Violation at a major petrochemical facility. Known for his strategic vision, mentorship, and ability to foster collaboration, Robert is dedicated to helping organizations create safer, healthier, and more sustainable workplaces.

Andrea Frye, MHS, ABCP, HEM

Senior Environmental Health & Safety Consultant

Andrea Frye is a seasoned Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional with more than 20 years of leadership experience in workplace safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance. She has successfully driven strategic initiatives that enhance employee well-being, strengthen safety cultures, and ensure operational compliance across a range of industries, including healthcare, utilities, and public-sector operations.

Currently serving as an Environmental Health and Safety Officer for Burbank Water and Power, Andrea leads initiatives to transform workplace culture into one that prioritizes psychological safety, employee engagement, and proactive risk reduction. She has implemented behavior-based safety observation programs, developed ergonomic flexibility initiatives, revitalized EHS committees, and introduced innovative incentive and recognition programs to drive participation and accountability.

Previously, Andrea spent over 15 years with Kaiser Permanente, where she served as a Senior Workplace Safety and Risk Consultant and later as a Project Manager. She led high-profile initiatives to improve safety systems, implemented incident investigation frameworks, developed comprehensive safety manuals, and designed organization-wide training programs. Her leadership helped reduce incident rates, streamline workflows, and improve labor-management relations across Southern California.

Andrea holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Health Science from California State University, Los Angeles, and she is credentialed as an Associated Business Continuity Planner (ABCP) and HealthCare Environmental Manager (HEM). She is an active member of the Western Energy Institute (WEI), National Safety Council (NSC), and the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP).

John Beer, B.S., M.S.

Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

John Beer is an emerging EHS professional with a rapidly growing portfolio of expertise in industrial hygiene, safety audits, regulatory compliance, and risk management. He recently completed his Master of Science in Environmental and Occupational Health at California State University, Northridge, where he maintained a 3.95 GPA and earned multiple Dean’s Awards for academic excellence, while working full time and met his military service obligations.

For over 2 years, John served as an EHS Intern at Burbank Water and Power, where he supported a wide range of environmental and occupational safety initiatives. His contributions include conducting industrial hygiene assessments, noise surveys, and exposure monitoring for asbestos, lead, heavy metals, and silica. He also assists with safety audits, implements Respirator fit testing programs, maintains AED systems, and helps develop workplace exposure reports and policy improvement recommendations.

In addition to his academic and civilian roles, John brings over nine years of military experience as a CBRN Sergeant First Class with the California Army National Guard, 40th Infantry Division. He has served as a CBRN Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, including deployments in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and counter-drug task force missions, where he collaborated with federal and local law enforcement.

John holds multiple Hazardous Materials certifications, including Hazardous Materials Technician, Hazardous Materials Operations, and specialized training in mass decontamination and personal protective equipment. His unique combination of technical skills, academic excellence, and real-world leadership make him a highly capable asset in driving EHS programs forward.
